Alumni: Calling all Former Members and Friends of the Wabana Boys & Girls Club "Become an Alumni Member" "Help Make Memories that last a Lifetime" Over the past 54 years many young men and women have passed through the doors of our building. We are now asking those those members to remember the great times they had with their friends, playing sports, taking part in tournaments and outings. Having a place to call their own and know that they were always in a safe place and cared for by dedicated staff. We now ask that you help another generation of children and youth, form those same type of wonderful memories. The numbers may have decreased somewhat since you were a member in the heyday of our club; but for our 380 active members we still provide a much needed facility for them to come to after school knowing that they will be able to take part in all types of programs while feeling safe and secure. In an age where bullying has become an everyday occurrence and many children need the stability of having their friends around them; we ask you to help give these children a chance to make memories that will last them a life time. The letter below will explain our Alumni Club, Please become an Alumni Member and help foster another Generation of Wabana Boys & Girls Club Members. Please remember that each year we ask for your support in our Alumni Club. We are now in the process of getting this moving once again. Due to my ill health I was unable to get the letters done and out but it will not be to long before you hear from me. Without your continued support it would prove very hard for us to continue the daily programming that our members have become used to expecting.
