Page 13 Remembrance Day: November 11, 2002

On Tuesday, November 11, 2002 parishioners and friends gathered with the members of the Royal Canadian Legion as we remembered all who served our nation in war and all who continue to maintain peace throughout our world. It was an ecumenical service and we prayed for a renewed spirit of hope for peace . Following our church service we gathered at the War Memorial and laid wreaths in memory of our war dead. Following our prayer at the monument we shared a lunch at the legion. We thank the members of the Legion and all who Remembered to take time to offer prayer on this sacred day of memorial.
