Did you know?.....
That the Compendium, an abbreviated version of the Catechism of the Catholic
Church
is now available in English. Pope Benedict XV1 describes the Compendium as
“a faithful
and sure synthesis of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It contains, in
concise form, all the essential and fundamental elements of the Church’s
faith, thus constituting, as my Predecessor had wished, a kind of vademecum
which allows believers and non-believers alike to behold the entire panorama
of the Catholic faith.”
Copies are now available at the Parish Office at a cost of $15.00.
Knights of Columbus/St Michael’s Parish Ticket Sweep
The ticket sweep for our parish continues to be doing very well. We still
must sell another 30 tickets if we are to gain the extra bonus for the sale
of 400 tickets. To those who are home for the Easter season or if you have
not yet purchased a ticket at a cost of $40.00, please stop by the sacristy
after mass and support this very important cause. We need your support and
the final date to have the tickets sold is April 30th. Please support St.
Michael’s Parish and the local council of the Knights of Columbus.
Knights of Columbus Meeting
The next meeting of the Knights of Columbus will be held on April 20th at
7:45 p.m. at the hall. All members are asked to please attend.
Lenten Folders
Please make a special effort to submit your Lenten offering during the
coming week. Your offering is much appreciated and we thank you for your
continued support.
