FOURTEENTH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME
JULY 3RD, 2005

Focus: Companionship with Jesus brings relief from life's burdens.
Life often presents us with troubles and personal burdens. We can do what we can to alleviate our own suffering, but after we have done everything feasible, Jesus invites us to surrender our difficulties to him. Jesus invites us to experience a new peace that can come to us only through our genuine act of surrender.

Summer Vacations/Ministries
During the summer months, many of you will be away on weekends and enjoying a well deserved holiday. If you are unavailable to fulfill weekend ministries at the church, please find a substitute. Please do not leave this to the last minute because it is difficult to replace you a few minutes before mass. Thank you for your support.

Reflections on the Sacrament of Marriage
During the summer months I will present to you some general thoughts and reflections on the sacrament of marriage and annulments in the Roman Catholic Church. I will try to present one reflection per week and it depends on the amount of material in the bulletin if we can publish the reflection weekly. I recently received these reflections from Father Gerard Whitty and we have adapted them for our weekly reflections. Hope you enjoy them.
