SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
December 5th, 2004

FOCUS: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

The followers of Jesus preached that the reign of God was at hand. Over two thousand years later we still hear the same message. Whether it be at the Second Coming or at the time of our own death, the reign of God for each of us will be at hand. We will go before God to account for our lives and to be judged on how well we have loved - or failed to love- one another.
