Remembrance Day
Canadians pause today in silence to remember those who died in war and to
pray for the victims of aggression and inhumanity throughout the world.
This is a day to pray for peace, to consider what we are doing as
individuals, as a community and as a nation to bring God's peace to the
world. This is a day when the believing community should rededicate itself
by prayer and action to the ideals Jesus gives us in the beatitudes. We
give thanks to God for all who serve our country and promote world peace.
May the continued work of the Legion remind us of how blest we are to live
in such a generous and bountiful land called Canada. Please join us for
the memorial service as we remember: 10:00a.m. Church service at St.
Michael's Parish Church with a Service at the Memorial Site, following
Church.
