SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY
JULY 27

FOCUS: Live in a manner worthy of your call to follow Christ.

Throughout history, humankind has survived and prospered because people learned early the benefits of cooperation and working for the common good. Every day we live in this world is a miracle of God's divine providence. We should thank God not only for our food, but also for the many blessings and benefits which come our way, especially those which we take for granted.

S.A.L.T. Ministries

Are you creative? Artistic? Original? And willing to share your talents with your community? Great!!! Then you're Just what we're looking for. The Archdiocesan Youth and Young Adult Group of St. John's, S.A.L.T. Ministries, is in need of a group logo. Something that will visually, yet spiritually identify us. Any ideas? We're in search of a logo that captures the essence of S.A.L.T. (sharing and living the Truth). Our intention is to be the outlet through which the youth of our community can be salt and light for the world, through social, spiritual and service activities. Now, how can we wrap all of what we're about up in one small package?? That's for you to decide. Please, lend us you talents and come check us out. The chosen entry will be awarded a prize. You can e-mail your logo designs to saltmins@yahoo.com or drop them off at the Pastoral Centre at the Basilica. Deadline for submissions is August 12, 2003.
