Epiphany of the Lord - Solemnity

JANUARY 5, 2003

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

FOCUS: On our journey of faith we identify with the Magi in their search for Christ.

Today we celebrate Epiphany, the twelfth day of Christmas. It is the manifestation of the newborn King to all the nations symbolized by the Magi coming with their gifts to adore and honour the Messiah. We acknowledge Christ as the Light of the Nations, and proclaim praise to the Lord.

Thank You
The busy schedule of Christmas and New Year's is over and family/friends have returned back to the ordinary tasks of daily life. It is with sincere thanks that I offer you gratitude for your kindness to me during the season to acknowledge your many gifts and kind words. I wish to thank all who celebrated the sacred liturgies with us and to highlight in a special way all who decorated the church, donated to the purchase of flowers and who shared in the many ministries of the liturgies. It was a wonderful sign of our love for God and I pray the new year may bring many blessings to all our families.
