Wabana Music Productions would like to announce the release of the first CD by the Submarine Miners entitled Tribute. 

The selection of songs included on this CD combine to tell the story of Bell Island down through the last 100 years of its history.

"Jolly Wee Miner Men" and "Canadian Miner" are about the miners who came from all parts to look for work. "Let Me Fish Off Cape St. Mary's" and "Saltwater Joys" recount the way of life many came to know living on a small island in Conception Bay.

"The Bell Island Song" and "The Untold Story" are snapshots of what the people of Bell Island faced in their daily lives, especially as work in the mine drew to a close. "Sons of the Miners" rounds out the story by talking about the hope for future generations.
