I am the son of James Grant Archibald, former plant and general manager of the mine, and Frances Florence (Bennett) Archibald. We moved to "Sin Jawns" after the closure of the mine in the late 60's and I later moved to Ottawa to follow career choices. My sister is Ruth Archibald, currently in the foreign service in Sri Lanka. Still look to the Island as a later years option.
